The step by step aspect of the process helps me slow down to more fully consider and explore a variety of creative choices as I distill the visual aspects of my subject matter.
It appeals to my love of making things by hand and respect for craftsmanship.”
Holly is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration.
She also worked towards an MFA in Studio Teaching at Boston University and
was awarded an Individual Artists Fellowship from the Maine Arts Commission for Printmaking.
A native of the seashore town of Kennebunk, Maine, she now lives in Waldoboro.
